Peer Review Process

After submitting a manuscript, an electronic receipt email will automatically be sent to corresponding author and coauthors of the manuscript which announces the receipt of it by the journal office. In a primary phase the journal editorial board will evaluate the appropriateness of the manuscript regarding the guidelines and aims and scope of the jcp which in the positive cases the manuscript undergo an anonymized reviewing by two anonymous reviewers and where there is a split decision by a third reviewer. In the negative cases a letter of rejection will be also immediately sent to authors.The review process normally takes two months. A manuscript may be accepted without revision, with minor revision without being returned to the reviewers after modification, with major revision, or rejected. In case a manuscript requires revision, reviewers’ comments will be sent to the author. For manuscripts rejected after peer review process, the author may also receive useful comments provided by two or three reviewers.
