Introduction: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between intolerance of uncertainty and rumination with worry on student population.
Method: This research is fundamental and descriptive research that has done in the shape of a correlative design. A sample of population consisting 152 students were selected randomly from the students in Payam e Nour University, Talesh Branch. They answered the Pennsylvania state worry questionnaire, the intolerance of uncertainty scale (Fryston et al, 1994) and rumination scale (Nolen-Hoeksema and Maro, 1991). Data were analyzed by both descriptive and inferential statistics including means, standard deviations, Pearson's correlation coefficient and regression analysis.
Results: Results showed significant positive relationship between intolerance of uncertainty and rumination with worry )P
