[English]

The study was conducted to investigate the effectiveness cognitive based on mindfulness therapy on inefficient attitudes and marital burnout in the women with marital conflict.
Methods: The study was quasi-experimental with pretest, posttest design and control group and two-month follow-up stage. The statistical population included women with marital conflict who referred to consultation centers in the winter and autumn of 2019 and 2020 in Tehran. 40 women with marital conflict were selected through purposive sampling method and they were randomly replaced into experimental and control groups (each group of 20 women). The women remained in the study (16 women in the experimental group and 18 women in the control group). The experimental group received 8 ninety-minute sessions of cognitive based on mindfulness therapy (Lovas, Schuman-Olivier, 2018) during two months. The applied questionnaires included inefficient attitudes questionnaire (Wiseman and Beck, 1978) and marital burnout questionnaire (Painz, 1996). The data were analyzed through repeated measurement ANOVA.
Results: The results showed that cognitive based on mindfulness therapy has had significant effect (p < 0.001) on inefficient attitudes and marital burnout of the women with marital conflict and it was able to lead to the decrease of inefficient attitudes and marital burnout in these women.
Conclusion: According to the findings of the study it can be concluded that cognitive based on mindfulness therapy can be applied as an efficient therapy to decrease inefficient attitudes and marital burnout of the women with marital conflicts through employing techniques such as Correction of cognitive processing, acceptance and conscious behaviors.
